Boonton Police Arrest & Charge Mountain Lakes Resident with Possession of Marijuana
According to the reports, the Boonton Township Police were investigating a suspicious activity report, when they discovered an overwhelming smell of marijuana emanating from inside a garage. Based on their observations, the officers placed the only adult on scene, an eighteen (18) year old Mountain Lakes resident, under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well. The individual was brought down to the Boonton Police Station, processed and released on a summons. The only other individual who was home at the time was a juvenile and it appears that he was not arrested.
