Heroin Possession Charges for Parsippany NJ Resident
According to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department they have arrested and charged a Morris County resident with among other things possession of heroin with the intent to distribute. Passaic County detectives were allegedly conducting surveillance in Paterson’s Southward when they noticed the Defendant, a thirty-three year old Parsippany native, exit his Lexus and enter an occupied Range Rover. The Range Rover is registered to a Woodland Park man. It is unclear at this point in time what legal basis the officer’s approached the Range Rover under but when they did, they discovered that there was shoe box filled with about $16,500 in cash. A further search revealed about 750 heroin wax folds and an additional $3,000 in cash was located in the trunk of the Lexus.
Only the Defendant, the Parsippany native was arrested. He was formally charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and possession of heroin. The Woodland Park resident was not arrested but the $16,500 in cash taken from inside his Range Rover was seized.
